Serious steel.

This thing is a monster. Much heavier steel stock that I thought it was going to be. Work sharp out of the box, very comfortable non slip grip. Light enough for brush, heavy enough to lop limbs. 2-3 inchers should be NO problem. (And let us not forget it's potential when the INEVITABLE "Zombie Apocalypse" occurs....grin) this is definitely an "Oh yeah, get one" piece. ONLY possible concern is that the round handle can make for bad edge alignment if you don't pay attention.
