6 point ratchet system, fits good and has a lightweight feel. The sweatband is thin and would be the only negative thing I could say about this hat but you can purchase a pack of hardhat sweatbands on Amazon for cheap, which your would probably do anyway if you spend any amount of time in a hardhat because you can wash them. Even with the thin sweatband, you can't beat the price of this hat.

It's exactly what you get for $20. As other people commented already, this is product looks good, except the straps. They are really cheap. I'm wearing this hard had now, when outside is above 90 and can't say that the air vents are really a great help. When the wind is 15mph or more, you can hear a "whistle" above your head.

Inside the snaps that keep the back headstrap in place constantly pop off. From the day it showed up both sides had this issue. Otherwise it's great but that alone is annoying and the problem is getting worse by the week now.

I'm a sewer and water pipe layer working 5-6 days a week, 10-12 hours a day. Stays on my head when bent over or looking up. I'll be adding a sweat band, but the forehead padding it comes with is very soft and comfortable, just thin. Seems like a good hard hat for 30 dollars.
Those vents are a godsend.
