I installed this LED light so it would light up my front door area.. The light is BRIGHT and works very well...My security camera will definitely catch anyone loitering around my front door at night..

Good spotlight

Good floodlight, but not great. Using it for lighting an American flag flying 24/7. Why not great? The reason for me is that the sides of the spotlight are transparent, and not opaque, thereby making for a very distracting effect, at least for the purpose I am using it for. I ended up cutting a 3" long piece of 3" sch. 40 pvc pipe painted gray and dropped it around the light, and it now shields the "side light". All that said, it's my own fault for not looking more closely at the details, which show the clear sides in the pics. Aside from that, it is very good quality. Metal and glass, not plastic housing. Puts out strong light for 7.5 watts.
