Finally! Relief from nighttime dry eyes!
Happyface✓ Verified Purchase•October 4, 2023
For the first time in years, I have relief from nighttime dry eyes! It's so much more effective than nighttime eye ointments and gel eye drops, which still left me with dry, red eyes in the morning.
I have dry eye syndrome + my eyes don't fully close during sleep, so I have scarred corneas. This eye mask, along with another doctor-recommended home treatment, is protecting my corneas from further damage, so it is well worth the price. I wish that I had found this mask several years ago!
It's comfortable to wear when I sleep on my back. When I roll onto my side, the mask presses into my face. By holding the strap in my left hand away from the goggles, using my right hand I can wash the goggles with soap without getting the whole strap wet.
Based on other reviews, I ordered a back-up pair to have on hand in case this one breaks.

Not perfect but the best that the market offers

- very effective
- expensive and overpriced
- designed to break as quickly as possible so that you have to buy it again
I gave these goggles 5 stars because they are effective at doing the thing they are supposed to do. While I find the planned obsolescence very annoying, ultimately I don't mind paying $60 every few months / every year for keeping my eyes moist at night. My first pair lasted me a little over 1 year, so I definitely got my money's worth, especially considering that it allowed me to significantly reduce using expensive eye drops.
Since I am a side sleeper, the goggles got quite deformed over time. The headband lost elasticity after several weeks, forcing me to tighten it to a point where it ripped off a little chunk of the goggle (a very common experience). Since then, I have been using them in conjunction with a large $15 sleep mask which keeps the goggles in place and applies pressure to create a pretty decent seal. Whenever I get 6-8 hours of sleep with the goggles, I usually don't need to use eye drops at all during the following day, which is a huge win & a decent amount of savings over the course of a year. (not to mention avoiding risk of infection/blindness that come with certain eye drops)
So in conclusion... Is it expensive? Yeah. Eye Eco should pitch on shark tank, I bet their profit margin would make the sharks cream their pants. Is this the best product of this type on the market? Yes, this is the only game in town based on my research as of mid-2023.

Improvements with my third pair
Rea Clute✓ Verified Purchase•September 25, 2023
This is my third pair of these eye masks. The first I bought from my optometrist a couple years ago, the second from Amazon about a year ago, and now my third. Each has been improved, and maybe now they won't tear as easily as other reviewers mention. I agree with what everyone has said about how well they work 🥰, how expensive for what they are 😕, and how the past ones have been fragile 😔. The first pair was much thinner and more flexible silicone than this one. I have actually never torn the strap holes, being careful not to overtightened the straps. But that first pair eventually became deformed and the eye cups flattened from sleeping on them funny, or from the mask coming off in the night and finding myself lying on top of them. They became unusable. The second was much thicker, heavier silicone, a tad less comfortable but they've never deformed, and I haven't torn the strap holes. I'm buying the third so I can have a pair in both places I sleep, not because the second one broke. And this third (purchased May 2023) has hard plastic reinforcement rings around the strap holes. Maybe the reinforcing rings will just tear out of the mask, but I'm hopeful I'll have it for years.
Works well, but leaches dye from strap
Jema Chow✓ Verified Purchase•September 4, 2023
It's more comfortable that I expect and it seals to my eyes fairly well. I have a somewhat contoured facial shape. The mask eye cups are also quick and easy to clean in the sink right before use.
The head strap gets damp during washing and then leached black dye all over the pillow. I'll be thoroughly washing that to try to rinse away all the residual dye.

Life changing for dry eyes
Jay✓ Verified Purchase•July 18, 2023
For context I've suffered from dry eyes for years; the root cause is that my eye lids don't completely seal while I'm sleeping, drying out my eyes. Over the years I've tried drops, ointments, bruder mask - all things that either were ineffective or just temporary relief. This is the first product that I've used that has resulted in almost 100% normal eyes. It's been years since I've woken up and not had redness & tearing. Within one day I saw significant improvement, and now with a few weeks using it I'm not sure I will ever stop using it given how much a difference it has made. It's not fool proof - I have woken up a few times and found the mask slipped off overnight (I am side sleeper so it will happen) - but even a partial night sleep w the mask is better than nothing. I swab the mask nightly w rubbing alcohol to sanitize; I saw in other reviews that washing with soap can cause the straps to get wet. So far I haven't had an issue w alcohol swabbing - just ensure it's evaporated before wearing. In closing, if you suffer from dry eyes and it's due to eye lids not closing, I highly recommend paying for this mask - it has worked so much more effectively than all the dollars I've wasted over the years on drops and ointments.
