Always have your key on you.

The convenience of the no key is great......the problem is.
1. You will run through batteries like crazy, and well if yours is like mine it will decide to not completely retract leaving just enough deadbolt to lock you out. Im a landlord and have changed plenty of locks but with the % chance you will get in to your house its not worth it.
2. Not all the LED's light up on the pad and yes i had to get a ladder to get into the back of my house because the damn thing decided not to retract completely. Most times it does but 8 out of 10 times is not why i bought a keyless lock.
This could be just mine...not sure, but based off of the product i received I absolutely would not pay for this again.

I had high hopes for this product. With many kids in the house I was thinking no more keys to be given out and lost.
Oh if only that was true.
Within 1 month of installing this lock I had already changed the batteries twice. Then the gear mechanism started making a straining noise. I contacted the manufacturer for warranty support. They told me they would ship me a replacement lock. A week after that call I contacted them to see where my shipment was, after all a label had been created a week earlier. They stated that they must not have had the part in stock and as I was on the phone with them I was watching the tracking label getting updated in the system.
I installed the replacement lock parts, and put a 4th set of new batteries (only had it installed 3 months mind you) and the new part is dead as well. Too late to get a refund through Amazon and manufacturer will not refund unless I buy directly from them. Needless to say I have removed this mechanism from my door and gotten a completely different brand.

Very well made.Love the remote door opener.Don't have to hunt for my keys. Great if you have a petsitter or vacation alot. Can set a code for temporay purposes & easily reset it when no longer needed. Don't have to worry about leaving a key out.
