Even though this product just got delivered I can already tell I'm really going to like it. Surprisingly it came with a spare battery. The accuracy seems on par with my old 6" caliper. Unfortunately it came with 2 small dents on the screen. It doesn't seem to hurt the usability but still a bummer. Overall I'd say it's well worth the money.

Awesome size. Seems to have good accuracy, stable measurements. Solid choice. Nice case. I think this will be nice for fine woodworking and bigger measurements.
Something is seriously wrong with the battery door. It feels like I'm going to break the thing, the only way to get it open is by pounding a sharp little flathead screwdriver in the crack and prying it open. Very stiff, why?

I am a cnc programmer and setup machinist. Works great for my uses. No issues calibrating at all. I would but again. Make sure to put a little measuring instrument oil on them, they felt a little dry.
