Not a Pro just a DIY, let me tell'ya! This cloth is strong! I applied one layer first and a "heavy duty" vigoro from the big box store. I'm a 200lbs guy, that played around on top of this material while laying it and it did not even wrinkle. The Vigoro got a rip while I twisted my boot on top of it nailing the paver bases on top. I am impressed by this geotextile. May order more, I like it so much.

Seems to work well. I used it in a ditch to lay a 1" water line from a spring to a pond. I laid the fabric in the ditch, back filled with gravel, and had enough fabric to wrap on top of the gravel & pipe. I then covered the last few inches with dirt. I am confident the fabric will keep the gravel clean and to help wick ground water along the pipe in an area that is low lying and boggy. I would recommend for similar applications like a French drain situation where you don't want a perforated culvert to get clogged with silt.

Bought this in the 6oz variant for a big French drain project. Worked great. Definitely a much different product than a regular landscaping weed barrier. I can also confirm one thing I saw when researching this project"¦.DEFINITELY cut it with scissors. Was nearly impossible to try to cut with a utility knife, even with a new blade. Arrived on time. Will buy again.
