Works great, nice and sturdy. My only note is that the lanyard the comes with it, at least for me, was attached to the eye frame for the sighting measurer. After a few days I could tell having the compass hang from this foldable part of it would loosen the joints for it over time much faster. Thankfully this is easily remedied by retying the lanyard to the hinge of the compass itself. Also noticed that the built in ruler had some paint chipping but it was so small that I am not bothering with returning it as it is still readable. I wouldn't try dropping it from a height but the joints for it seem sturdy and the clinometer is as well.
