These were a tad too small for our door knobs, which look identical to the product pictures. The covers are tight enough to prevent the door knobs from turning freely, which can cause the latch to get stuck in a retracted/open position. That would obviously defeat the purpose of a baby safety cover on a door knob. I think these would work fine for smaller door knobs, but without clear specifications for maximum diameter, it's hard to tell in advance. A digital caliper says the diameter of my door knobs is 53.83mm or about 2 1/8".

Our 2 year old learned out to open doors and these are great! Just what I was looking for and fit perfect on our standard door knobs. The rubber grips make them easier for my older kids to open than the other types, but my 2 year old is unable to open them. They feel durable and I have no doubt they will last.
