Been using for ten years. Better for fabrics and cleans the best of ANY soap for clothes that I've ever used!
LOVE this detergent!

My daughter introduced this to me and we love it. Our clothes are cleaner, whiter and smell better. Great value and I won't go back to big bottle liquids. Give it a try.
Good Laundry Soap, but a couple issue

We like Nellies, and will probably continue to use it. However...
if you have something that has a strong odor, such as undergarments, it does not always remove the odor; especially when washing on Cold water. So that is an issue. We have to add some of another soap to get this kind of load clean. That was not true of Tide. But we no longer use Tide because not all the ingredients seem safe.
The second issue is the lid is bizarrly robust, and hard to remove. You would think it would get easier, as it wears a little but not so. The lid is a Double-wall metal, like in travel mugs. Its built like a tank. You could run over this lid and it would not blink an eye. We can get this open but someone with Arthritis is going to have very stinky clothes - they will never get this open, or if they do you can never close it again in case it becomes unopenable. If you do finish all the soap, you could store your jewelry in the can; because few thieves could open this lid. People who live in areas that flood should buy this soap because, their soap will not spoil in a flood (or earthquake) - the tin is impregnable. I think this tin was designed by nuclear war engineers, who were operating on instinct.

Used to use Tide Clean & Clear, but since they no longer sell their powder version, I decided to try Nellies. I used to have a hard time rinsing my towels even after 2 rinse cycles I could see soap in the water and I used very little detergent. Now my towels rinse completely, smell fresh and clean with no scent. I am going to continue to buy Nellies. I'm not a fan of the metal container, so I am going to buy the bag next time.
