Well-made, comfortable fit.

Thank you for these well-made traction cleats. I wear a womens size 9 shoe (9.5 hiking/running shoes) and ordered the womens size large (9.5-11.5). The cleats fit comfortably on my bulky Kamik winter snow boots, as well as my hiking/runing shoes. I expect to use them when shoveling snow, especially if my driveway is icy. A cross-instep strap to keep the cleats from shifting would be my only recommendation.
Big

I like these, but this pair is too, too big. They are too big around the hee) and I'm in danger of tripping. I have a knee replacement and got these so I wouldn't slip on the ice. Now I'm afraid of tripping.
I may have to give these to my husband.

These grip the scariest ice with absolutely no slippage. Look like they'll last forever. They rock back and forth a bit but they're easy to get used to. Don't wear on wooden floors!
For less than 20 bucks, you can't go wrong.

These snow cleats are heavy duty. The rubber is thick and apparently strong. They barely stretched over my size 14 hiking shoes, but they did. These are the only brand I found that can fit over very large shoes. I walk for exercise and have used these cleats for a couple of weeks in Idaho snow and ice and haven't fallen once. The only question at this point is longevity.

I had a pair, couldn't find them, ordered another, found them and am very glad to have two (one kept in car). I got stuck halfway up an unplowed drive that had partially melted and frozen over several times so it had deep tire ruts, iced over, patches of snow, sticks frozen in -- just treacherous. And it's a significant uphill grade, to boot. These cleats are lifesavers. They stay on, easy to get on/off, rubber and cleat parts all seem good quality. The metal prongs do not come to a point (mixed feelings about that) but if you have to step inside with them on, that pays off bigtime. Only downside to their "flat-screw" type tips is in occasional cases where they won't puncture through ice, you can still slip BUT all that means is that you still walk carefully (ideally baby steps so your weight is kept over your stride at all times when on that kind of especially slippery ice, and their grip is enough). On other snow/ice terrain these let you walk much more normally but just keep very aware because footing can change underfoot from step to step. They do quite well on iced-over snow because the prongs grip quite well there and penetrate through that kind of layer really easily. Company seems extremely conscientious as they followed up twice by email which is very fair when building a distributorship reputation, and follow-up included request to contact them direct if any problems at all. I've had spring type ice "cleats" which I found dangerous, you can skate on those under some circumstances, and other pair had round BB type protrusions which are more linoleum-friendly but less aggressive protection on ice. They fold easily into a quart-size ziplock. So no complaints, and having taken 2 hard falls last winter, let me tell you how fast that happens even if you have great reactions. No time to pick your landing or anything about it, suddenly you're simply looking at the sky.
