I just used it so I can't speak on longevity but it turned out great! First I split my hair into sections with clips, then went and did each section with a dye brush. I have short hair and I used the entire bottle to saturate my hair. Then I put a processing cap on and blew dry it for about 10 minutes"¦ then I left it on for 2 hours! The bottle said 30 minutes but I've done that before with other colors and it ended up being really light. Washed it out with cold water and my hair looks super pink and healthy!

I've wanted to go red for a long time but will never bleach or treat my hair so this seemed like a fun way to experiment. I got the Ginger Flare color and tried a test strip of hair for an hour then rinsed it out. I didn't notice any difference in color or texture so went all in and put the entire bottle in my hair and left it in for 3-4 hours. I rinsed it out with cold water and went to bed. I did not have any staining in my tub but USE AN OLD PILLOWCASE OR TOWEL. I used an old one and it was very orange in the morning and a little soaked through onto my pillow cover. Take the warnings seriously and wear dark or old clothes the first day or two. The dye seems to come out fine in the wash but don't risk it. It was super red in the morning but after a hot shower the color toned down a lot. I really like it. My hair is normally medium to dark brown and the color change was noticeable but somewhat subtle. I would say it's comparable to the example pictures they gave for dark brown hair, just a little less saturated. When my hair is wet or sweaty there can be a very small amount of color bleed but it's very light. I'm not wearing nice white shirts but everything else seems fine. Now for the reason I'm only giving it 4 stars: It's only been in a few days and the color seems to be fading already (despite barely washing out in the shower anymore). To me this isn't an issue because I wanted to try something short term but I think others may want it to last longer. That being said, if you take steps to maintain it like leaving it in even longer at the start, only washing your hair with cold water, or if your hair is treated/lighter, it will probably last much longer. I really like trying this product and would recommend it to anyone wanting a short term change, but for some it might not last long.

I have been dying my hair myself for about 14 years and this is one of my favorite brands. The dye is true to its advertised color and also smells nice- kind of fruity instead of typical chemical smells. I used this on my non bleached but previously dyed darker brown hair and the purple still shows up pretty well, especially in sunlight. It's really pretty and I like the color a lot. My only issue is that the dye continuously washes/rinses out for several showers and stains bathtubs pretty easily so I would just recommend being extra careful with washing out and if possible maybe use a sink or have a friend/partner help you rinse the dye out. It also comes out a little when I'm styling my hair with a gel or liquid hair product or if I sweat so I would also stay away from light colored clothing for at least the first couple of weeks after dying.

This green is so fun of a hair color I'll definitely buy this again. Also I didnt wash my hair much to keep the color in for a short trip. It lasted a nice long time especially for a green once we got home and I properly washed my hair.

I love having red hair but had trouble figuring out which brand I wanted to try. I've never tried this brand but had seen YT videos about it. Love how it turned out using the Poison color. I actually ended up using this with another brand of red called, " Loreal Excellence Hicolor H09 Tube Red Hot" and mixed it all together. If you have medium hair or longer and you want to make sure your hair gets completely saturated, definitely buy 2-3 bottles of one of each brand to mix together and then finish with plastic wrap around the head. The bottle said to leave on for 30min but by the time I washed it out, it might have been around 45min. Used cool water and shampoo for red heads. 10/10. Poison smelled SO good for hair dye, I was quite impressed. The other brand I used that I had mentioned was a very intense aroma in comparison. Overall, love how it turned out! Will buy again
