I don't know enough about them to know what is good or bad but it arrived in good condition and it sounds and plays good to me!
Best bass anywhere near this price! Really!

I play bass professionally and bought this bass as a beater/practice bass/flyswatter but was pleasantly surprised that it is good enough to take to gigs (with a better pickup). It is an absolute steal. It plays well after setup and other than being slightly top heavy, feels great. As everyone else has already said, it arrives with the necks truss rod loosened for shipping - this is normal. You must either set this up yourself, take it to your bass teacher and have him or her do it for you, or take it to any good music store - it doesn't take long. I set it up in about five minutes and got the strings down as low as they would go. No buzz anywhere, frets were level and had no sharp edges. The pickup is weak but functional and just fine for someone learning to play. I replaced mine with a stock Fender P-Bass pickup, so now it sounds like a Fender and plays about as well. The stock strings are functional but are rough and will need to be replaced ASAP, but that is expected with a cheap bass.
As I wrote earlier, the bass is top heavy, but other reviews told me that before I ordered it so it was expected. This problem is fairly minor and was solved by adding a little weight to the guitar strap near the bottom of the bass. I use a 1 pound strap through scuba divers weight. It is very light to begin with, so one extra pound isn't going to strain anyone. The strap that comes with the bass is cheap and too short for me, but it's functional and will be just fine, as is the gig bag, cord and the other assorted stuff. Make sure you hang onto the Allen wrenches, you need to make adjustments every few months until the bass settles in completely and the sizes might be a pain in the backside to find. I'm not sure if they are metric, but they probably are. The neck feels smooth and unvarnished, just the way I like it.

This Bass is Excellent for the Price.I would NOT call this a "Beginners" Bass as the fingerboard is about as wide as the widest Fender. The Squire Precision Bass has a Much narrower fingerboard and easier to play for beginners. The Body is lite but resonance is good.Resonance is partly due to the substantial size and weight of the neck. The Balance of Notes over the entire fingerboard is excellent for such a cheap instrument.Pick ups are a little weak but Bass is worth switching them out.Like others said, needs a set-up out the box.I did myself with wrenches supplied.I am disappointed it doesn't say anything on the instrument. No "GoPlus" no "made in china" no serial number.Maybe the info is hidden behind the pick guard or behind the Neck Plate.I'm gonna paint "GoPlus, made in china" on the head stock so future generations will know what it is.Without a Doubt better than its price would suggest. Luv.
This was perfect. The low price point means I'm not investing ...

Longtime guitarist looking for a bass to start experimenting with. This was perfect. The low price point means I'm not investing too much into something I might decide I don't want to continue playing, but the quality is still surprisingly good. Intonation was good, as was the action. It's a little unbalanced and kind of wants to neck dive, but that's not a huge issue for me. Strap was pretty flimsy, but for the price of the whole bundle, I'm not really surprised. If you're looking for a cheap starter bass, I'd say this is easily your best bet.
Great beginner bass!

I bought this bass because it was cheap and I wasn't sure if bass was for me. I'm hooked now though. I think it's well worth the $70. I made a couple easy adjustments lowering the strings (read how to online) and it made playing a bit easier. Once I get better at playing I'll get a new bass later in the year, but for now it gets the job done.
