I did not know that the speakers were wired to the unit. I have to buy speaker wires and rewire them. Not that happy. I can't even check to see if it works until I get the speaker wires and get it set up.

Great all in one machine here for a great price. Definitely a great find someone trying to get a good all in one deal that is actually worth getting and is of good quality. Not the loudest sound, works well for where I put it however, a change of speaker could easily rectify that if necessary to you. One note about the USB port, you cannot use it to plug in a smart phone or device, you must use aux or the Bluetooth feature. I didn't find this to be a particularly big problem, but thought it was worth noting.

I try very hard to be fair, as almost every stereo on amazon has detractors claiming that the unit has terrible sound. This one genuinely does. No bass, no way to adjust, virtually no radio reception in am or fm. I returned it immediately after the first listen.

Disappointed that there is no bass and treble adjustment capabilities. As delivered, the sound was pretty tinny, I replaced the speakers with an older pair I had, and it improved somewhat....still not very impressed.....the 14 year old AIwa, which finally gave out was much better all around, and was about 2/3 the price when new. Still have not tried to create MP3 output to USB device from vinyl, if it works well, it will be a redeeming factor.
