I have had it less than I year and the CD does not work properly. It plays for a few minutes and then starts getting all blurry. I tried a lens cleaner but that did not fix the problem. The CDs work ok on my other CD recorder. Can it still be returned?

At first, I thought this was a fairly good system. However, as I tried to utilize more of the features of this system I began to see the faults. The record speed is not manually adjustable and the preset 33, 45, and 78 speeds are faster than they should be so all records are played too quickly. The turntable, after less than 6 months minimal use, bounces and produces a wavy sound. When recording to a USB, the features of track advance do not work the way they manual specifies; you cannot control which track number you are recording nor can you pause and then continue recording.
If you are looking for a cute, token system, for minimal, daily use, then this system is a good price and value. If you are wanting something to record and enjoy sound quality, you would be better off buying a component system with the various attributes you are looking for.

Soildly Built Compact Unit

I'm dealing with the manufacturer to send me a replacement. CD Drive 2 plays fine but CD drive one is a dud. We'll see how they are in honoring their product.
Update-- They promptly sent me a replacement which works fine. I was impressed with their professionalism and costumer care. The unit does everything I need it to do-- play records and transfer media content to SD, CD, or USB. It's a solidly built compact unit that looks nice on my shelf. I hooked it into my Dolby 5.1 speaker system through an RCA cable (not provided). I turned down the volume on the BT-29B to zero and so I only hear it through the ceiling speakers. I am very happy I bought it.

Purchased this for my husband for Christmas. He wants to make CD's from Albums. It is working well for him. Ran into a couple of bumps because of the way the instructions are laid out. A step you need to do is at the end of the instructions instead where you complete the task. He loves it.
