These are good for removing the shiny coat before the removal process on gels and dip nails but are NOT good for regular filing or smoothing. This grit is very rough. 100/180 is not for smoothing nails. Just FYI

Have been looking for a file that can be used for a while and then replaced with a new one at minimal expense. These fit that need. They are a little coarse for my fingernails but work great on toes. The buffing pads are very nice! I have these scattered in every room in the house so we will have no excuse the not keep our nails in good shape.
