Good For Price But Set Screw Adjustment Required
Steven Treat✓ Verified PurchaseMarch 16, 2018
Overall, good for the price for basic hobby type work. I would not expect this to be used in a commercial machine shop.

As noted in other comments, I had to tighten the set screws on each cross-slide gib to remove "end shake" . It was easy to do and a small allen wrench is provided.

The instructions are not clear on where/how to tighten these set screws. See my attached photo for locations. There are 3 set screws on each cross-slide gib (one set of 3 for X- direction, another set for Y-Direction). There is a lock-nut on each set screw (most of mine were loose already). You need to loosen the lock nut to adjust the set screw. Slightly tighten each set screw to remove any looseness in the cross-slide. However, the trade off is the tighter you make the set screws, the harder it will be to turn the crank handle used to move the cross-slide. Don't forget to tighten each lock nut after making the adjustments!

I was able to find a good compromise that eliminated the end shake movement in each cross-slide, while still easily being able to turn each hand crank.

Not quite heavy duty enough.
PRB✓ Verified PurchaseMarch 15, 2018
This was not quite heavy duty enough for my small milling project.
I am milling a 4" x 8" piece of 1/8" aluminum using a mill end in my drill press.I was able to bolt this table to my drill press table and drill my starter holes, but when I switched to my (brand new) milling bit and tried to feed the stock against the bit the table screw struggled and the nut holding the threaded rod that tracks the table back and forth came off, so the table wouldn't track.
I have a bigger steel milling table but I was hoping this smaller, lighter table would work for smaller stock, It doesn't.
Also, one of the threaded holes in the one of the clamp pieces was not threaded cleanly so the clamp was useless.
Great addition to my shop for hobby work

Very pleased with the work table. After reading some of the prior reviews, I was apprehensive but the table that I receive works very smoothly and precisely. It will work very nicely to mill out pockets for inlay mother of pearl inlays in wood (guitar and Banjo fret boards) . No this is not a $600 cast iron machined x-y table, but for the price, I am very pleased. The base is cast aluminum and the table top is an aluminum extrusion. Some of the parts are polyurethane such as the end caps for the extruded table top and cover plates. The polyurethane parts are substantial, I think they are cast (maybe injection molded).
I will probably do some light machining of aluminum and brass parts and I think the work table will work fine.
Great functionality in an inexpensive tool

This little work table is a great value. If you take care and don't horse it, it should be great for small projects. I bought a drill stand to use with it, and it didn't quite line up to attach it with 4 bolts. I got 3 to line up, which should be enough. Not sure whether that's the fault of the table or the press. I lubricated the desk augers to reduce wear and friction. One problem was that one of the tapped holes on a project clamp did not match the bolts supplied. I had to retap the hole. But otherwise, for the price, I give it 5 stars. Hopefully it holds up.
Slight wobble, but overall Great for the price!

I cant be too harsh on this review considering the price. This Milling table is great for beginners who are interested in trying milling on a simple bench press but don't have the money or don't feel like committing to an expensive milling machine or really high-quality milling table. Note the package does not come with milling bits and doesn't work with regular drill bits however with milling bits only costing a couple dollars this table is still far below the price of competitors products even with that added price. It is not a Precision machine it is made of high-quality materials, however, there is some major wobble to the x-axis and I have been unable to figure out how to remove that. I have used this table for milling both steel and wood and both work fine, however, taking note of the wobble is important. Overall it is great for my needs and for the price I really can't complain.
