Rotating pressure clip made of substandard metal.

Disappointed with the quality of the rotating clip that pressure fits the badge to the hood - it is flimsy and bends easily rendering the product almost useless. I removed the clip from my original hood ornament and affixed it in place of the flimsy one and made it fit, it's fine for now but will be replacing it with a higher quality item in the future. I have a difficult time believing this is a "genuine" MB product.

This was NOT "Genuine Original" as advertised. Don't be fooled by this product. It might look all shiny, but the clip mount that turns underneath to secure it is not original. It's made of pop metal or aluminum or some other cheap metal that bends when you try to install it. It bends woth the slightest pressure. Even if I would have managed to get it to stay without the wobbly, sloppy mounting that I was left with, I would have been worried about losing it the very first car wash. Very disappointed in this product. I even watched the videos on how to install to "educate" myself before the install process began. This is not original. I should have known with the price and the old adage...."You get what you pay for." Now I will purchase the OEM product like I should have done in the past. I might pay more, but it will be a quality part unlike this thing. I'm upset that I wasted $28.00 but I learned a valuable lesson. Please don't expect quality in this part.

Very disappointed.
This item is poorly made. First the white caps came off then the bottom part that turns came off. The same parts on the original emblem that I was replacing were on solid.

This is not a genuine emblem. It is NOT what it looks like in the picture. Emblem is all silver and it doesn't have Blue circle with Mercedes Benz writing on it.

The item looked like cheap pot metal compared with old one, and retainer ring fell of immediately. Also I noticed it did not have original blue spacer material like the one it replaced. The parts information said it was made in Germany for Mercedes, but I suspect this was false. The only way to seat it properly was to add sealant around the base, otherwise the ornament would not fit my C240 W203 2004.
