Incorrect instructions, missing pieces, broken parts, overall terrible product!

I recently purchased a 70" television and needed a larger table to place it on. I found the Ameriwood stand and liked the style of it with the black and silver. I ordered it on December 5th with 3-day shipping. The package didn't arrive until December 19th! It went back to the shipping center according to the tracking information. So they must have messed something up with the address or packaging.
When I received the tv stand, I put it together myself. I've never had a problem putting together furniture before as I am excellent at following directions. Please understand that:
THE DIRECTIONS INCLUDED IN THIS FURNITURE ARE WRONG!
I've included some pictures of the instructions. They tell you to place screws in the wrong holes (a small screw will be indicated to go in a large cam hole) and the cams are indicated to go nowhere sometimes. In the end, I had to use a bit of guesswork to figure out where to put things. The table is symmetrical, so I was able to use the correct instructions for one side to correctly assemble the other side where the instructions were nonsense. What I wasn't able to correct was that:
ONE PIECE WAS SIMPLY CUT TOO SHORT!
You can see in my pictures two silver columns that are on the front of the tv stand. One picture is perfect, filling the gap between the two shelves. One of the 6 columns was cut too short, and there is a large and unsightly gap at the top of the column. I had been waiting weeks for the tv stand, so I put it together even with the flaw (and I wasn't about to try to send it back by disassembling it and fitting it back into the box). I did a little hunting and eventually found the Ameriwood website where I successfully ordered a replacement part for free. It arrived in a reasonable amount of time. The problem is, now I'll have to disassemble the whole stand to replace this one part, without instructions, and screwing in all the screws again, probably weakening the particle board. It's going to be a major pain that I would not have volunteered for. I'll likely wait until we move to replace the part. In the meantime, we have an ugly tv stand that we spent a lot of money on.
Also, there were 2 parts left over that I double checked in the instructions and they weren't used. It seems like they should have gone somewhere but they were just neglected in the instructions. One part I needed was simply missing. There are pre-installed nuts(?) in the wood that you screw the columns into. Six columns, six holes, but only 5 nuts to screw them into. One was simply missing, and there were no spare parts in the kit to fix it.
One corner of the table's shelving was completely chipped and the black was peeled off exposing the particle board underneath.
Lastly, the size. This tv stand is designed for 70" televisions, but the size is misleading. For my television, the width is almost too wide for the stand, and the feet of the stand are less than an inch from the edge. It's too close for my comfort. The depth of the tv stand is fine in the middle where it is larger, but the curve makes it too small on the outside edges.
Overall, this tv stand looks great, but it is more of a headache than I would have ever signed up for. The instructions were wrong, I had some leftover parts that I am certain had no instructions associated with them, a part was missing, another part was cut wrong, a corner was chipped off the furniture, and I paid a lot of money and now have a tv stand I hate and is smaller than I need. Don't make the same mistake I did! Heed this review and purchase elsewhere, or buy some headache medicine with your order. 1/5 stars

so you have to be super careful. Other than that

This was the most frustrating piece of furniture I've ever put together and I've owned a lot of IKEA in my life. The inside shelving holes don't line up and neither shelves are level. I even took it partially apart to verify it was not my error, but I had it together correctly. Even the tiniest angle when screwing in the screws (which are tough to get in) and they come out the sides, so you have to be super careful.
Other than that, it does look good and seems sturdy.

I am pretty happy with this entertainment center. The box it arrived in was in good condition but once i opened it and laid all of the pieces out I found that two of the slim wood panels for the back of the stand were cracked. One had fine cracks in three different places. I was also short on two screws used to assemble the cabinet doors. I used alternative screws to fill the gaps and decided to build the furniture to see how the cracked pieces would do. The cracks did not go all the way through the wood so the panels were still intact and useable. It turns out that the damaged pieces are not very essential on bearing the weight of my tv and the cracked sides face against the wall so they will not be seen. The stand looks nice and the size is perfect. Putting it all together took a while because of the many pieces but the instructions were easy to follow and the process was not difficult. I would be 100% happy had this item come in perfect condition and without some of the screws missing.
IT'S BEAUTIFUL!!!

Wow!!! So based on the reviews i took a chance and purchase this furniture, when it arrived all we saw was a big box and we were nervous about putting it together. We follow the manual instructions and it also came with all nails needed. I also like that before starting to put everything together the instructions were very clear on what kind of tools you needed to begin building it.
All i can say is that you need to be very patient to build this piece of furniture because when we started taking out of the box it came with ALOT OF PIECES. But again following instructions you will be fine. Another thing is that all pieces were dusty not damaged or anything but had lots of dust which we just wiped it down as we were building it. We took about 2HR to build..
And when it was finally together we FELL IN LOVE!! I love that It has 2 options, LED LIGHTS or it can also HEAT UP THE LIVING ROOM. AMAZING!!! I DO RECOMMEND..
Its CHERRY/BLACK

Best price for tv stand

Best price for tv stand. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a tv stand. My tv was sitting on a coffee table for the past year and I got tired of looking at it. Easy to assemble. I was going to wait for my husband to put it together but I decided to do it with our 6 year old instead. If a 6 year old can help assemble this product, you can too. It made my living room look much nicer and I finally got to get rid of that ugly coffee table. There is room for not just our tv but a speaker bar, xbox, tivo, and internet router. Inside the cabinets I was able to put our xbox accessories and there is room for more. I was pleased with this purchase.
