I like this coffee pot because it makes coffee that tastes smooth and it does not have the burned bitter taste characteristic of the pots that use metal elements to heat coffee. It only takes about 12 minutes to make a full pot of 8 cups of coffee. I recommend this product.

I love this little coffee pot. I grew up with 1 this style only it was bigger. My dad made coffee every morning in the big one. I'm sick of drip coffee. Never hot enough and annoying. I read reviews saying the grounds holder is cheap plastic. It works for me. I've had it a c ouple weeks now. I bring it to a boil but not real high. Once it starts perking I turn down the flame. It'll keep on perking. I've no complaints. Thanks Amazon.

The media could not be loaded. I have an antique pyrex glass percolator I use to make fresh tea. It's only 4 cups. The 8 cup medelco is perfect to fill to large mugs
Highly recommended, though you may have to experiment a bit to get the right combination of strengths for your beverage ( for loose tea, 1 tsp per cup of water works great, which you can get 2 full pots out of).

I really like this little thing because its just enough coffee in the morning and easy clean up too. I've always liked a really hot cup of coffee which I don't find with drip or kerig.
