Not very sharp; What you might expect for the price

Not very sharp unfortunately. Could barely punch a hole through a leather guitar strap, and when the punch finally went through, the hole was not very clean. But you get what you pay for. This was a very cheap set.
Very good value, but of course not well sharpened at this price

Very good value, but plan to sharpen them if it matters to you. I chuck them in the drill press and dress the small bevel with a flat india stone, then lightly finish inside the hole with a round tapered india stone.

These punches are less than perfectly finished. The cutting edge is not exactly round on each punch. But for the price, these are great.

These work great. I bought these for my leather work and have loved using them.
The one used cleanly cut a small circle and that was easily accessable in the opening

Can't say how well these work for punching holes in leather. I bought them for cutting/punching small circles of felt to use in an embroidery project. The one used cleanly cut a small circle and that was easily accessable in the opening.
