Bright, warm, quiet, cheaper to run and no bulbs to deal with. Excellent!

I got this for my office, so went with the 2700K model. It was a direct replacement for [1] of [2] fluorescent fixtures in the room. The old fixtures were ok, but like all fluoro units, they emit an annoying 60 cycle hum.
This unit was easy to install, bright/warm light, VERY quiet. Lower cost to run and never needs bulb replacements.
Nice!!! I'm getting another one to do the other half of the room. LEDs are awesome!
Recommended buy.

First two in a row were damaged

So the light itself is this tiny small strip of really bright LEDs which is good, but if you have flush mount and you need to bring the wires in, they interfere and cast shadows in the light so you have to figure out a way to tape them. The absolute worst part though is that I had to go through 3 of these. The first two in a row had broken covers. First was giant crack in the middle, second was broken along both edges so it wouldn't stay in. Contacting customer service they are really nice and honest but waiting weeks for a shipment is not really acceptable, especially when you aren't even sure when that one arrives if it will be cracked. The oddest part is that the first two boxes that came were boxes inside of boxes. The third one was just the box itself and it was fine. Anyway, they have to redesign this thing better or they will lose a ton of money and upset many customers.
Satisfied so far

I installed this today.
I was replacing a fluorescent fixture and the installation was simple.
You have to remove the light diffuser in order to get the screws and wire caps out. The directions say to squeeze the diffuser in order to get it back on properly. When I did, the diffuser began to crack (it is cheap plastic) so be careful with that.
I would not call this "instant on". I put this at the end of a string of 2 -- the other still being fluorescent. The fluorescent comes on a full second before this unit. I have this in the basement so it doesn't matter to me.
This unit does not have a replaceable LED light strip/bulb, so when the light strip fails, I expect to have to replace the entire unit. That is something to consider depending on location and depending on whether you pay to have it installed.
The amount of lighting is equivalent to what I replaced (2 fluorescent tubes which were 40 watt each).
I will probably buy more of these to finish swapping out the fluorescent fixtures in that part of the basement -- for consistency sake.
If I ever replace the ones in the garage, I would consider these but I would also look at other alternatives.

Electronics and illumination quality great, sheetmetal fail unless you're an electrician with a punch set in-hand.

Needs multiple standard electrical knock-outs (1/2" EMT conduit, etc.), a simple sheetmetal stamping process that was completely overlooked. This forces one to either wire the fixture dangling by wires, or get out the Greenlee punch set that the average DIY'er won't have. Ditto mounting holes matching joists.
Electrically and ergonomically great, but what a pain to install. So much effort to do the electronics correctly and then blow it entirely on the sheet metal stamping. It isn't like there are no other fixtures on the market to go by as reference.

Nice Fixture for Closets, Garage or Utility Area.

Lithonia is a well respected brand. I used this lamp (in 5000k) to replace a 2 light 40 watt fluorescent pan in a kitchen hood. It is lightweight and gives off more than ample light. It is a suitable replacement for a standard 2 light 32 or 40 watt strip light. It is most suitable for center mount on a standard 4" ceiling box, but the ends are plastic and can be drilled out for conduit entry or installation of a pull chain switch. I drilled one end for entry and used tie wraps to hold the wire up so they wouldn't show through the plastic lens. I would use this fixture again for closets, utility rooms, garages or basement areas. LED's are especially nice in cold areas where fluorescents tend to flicker until warm.
