very pretty, I noticed the glass tube at the bottom is maybe an inch shorter than the other one I have of these globes. but it did fit in the hole so I still am giving it a 5 on looks. Design wise just gorgeous when sun hits it and I have it where it gets mid day to late sun. My suggestion to manufacturer is increase length of the stem at least 1/2 to 1 inch , it is a short stem. It fits , it does not drop down in, if that makes sense and that extra inch would accomplish this. It is just alittle stubby. But the holder I have it works fine. But I did notice it immediately. If your holder was shallow this would sit on top , well it does on mine actually but mine has strips that come up and brace it around . Just a technical issue. But to look at-it is dark, comes off as alot of purple which is what I was going for. somewhat reflective too, and it changes color as the day goes by and sun moves. I had looked at several of these color combinations and I imagine they all are somewhat color changing , so if you want blue/purple, get this one, very glad I got this.

"Wow!" Was my first impression after putting it outside. "It's not like anything else." Such beautiful mirrored glass translucent pieces in mosaic patterns. Gorgeous!

Rain and the sprinklers spot the globe and leave it to dull to sparkle. It has to be washed frequently and I've only had it a couple of weeks. It looks nice when it's clean. Wish I had chosen something different. The one I broke sparkled all the time!
