My wife and I were taking a trip to Hawaii and we wanted to try these masks out. I thought the review were pretty mixed but for the price, we gave it a shot. Other family members had bought similar styles of mask, but different brands. At the end of the trip, everyone liked ours better over the competitors. I had bought a large/xl size and my wife got the s/m.
Mask: I love the design of the mask. Whenever we were out of the water, we had tons of people asking us about them. There is a cool factor to them for sure. One thing that we both liked is the straps are a nylon/fabric material. One complaint about some of the other masks my family had was that the rubber straps pulled their hair. I was super worried about the mask leaking but both my wife and I had zero issues with it. The only time I had water come in was a trickle of water would come down in when I dove under the water a little bit. The view is awesome in these masks. We didn't have any issues with distortion. My parents had bought masks that had a tint and they said it caused them to see their own reflection as they swam. It was pretty comfortable to wear. One tip I would offer on the mask, is you don't need to tighten them as much as you think. The first day I went out and it was fine without adjusting. The second day I decided to tighten it a little bit and it was too much. It pressed the mask too hard against my face. After I loosened it up, it was great again. The snorkel portion does a good job keeping the water out. We snorkeled in a cove that was really calm and also in another bay with some large waves. Sometimes I had waves come over my head but I didn't have any issues with it. The seal works great. I just made sure to shave before my trip. Even with a little stubble I was still ok.
Fins: I know a lot of people complained about the fins but I really liked them. They are nice and portable and got me where I needed to go. Some people complained about deformity but I didn't have any issues with that. The nice thing with them being so small, my wife and I fit everything into a backpack when we went down to the beach. They are nothing fancy but I liked them.
Cons: The only complaint I have about the mask is you need to limit the amount of time you spend in the water. I know it can vary with people, but I found my max was about an hour. The reason being is that I don't think enough oxygen cycles through the mask. I think that after awhile, you are breathing in quite a bit of CO2. The first day I had been in an hour and a half and when I got out, I was pretty light headed. You don't notice it until you get out. If I was in for about an hour with the mask, I was fine.
The other con is that although I dove down under the water, there isn't a way to really equalize your ears so there is a lot of pressure if you dive down too far. I know others have noted that as well.
Conclusion: I would recommend these masks if you want to try something different over the traditional equipment. They really are a lot of fun I think the mask design works pretty well. I think you get a good product for the price. My other family members that bought more expensive mask returned theirs. We are keeping these for sure!

Amazing Full Face Snorkel Set

This is such an awesome snorkel set. I've never used a full face snorkel before and I'm never going back. I've always gone cheap in the past and it always turned me off to snorkeling but now I want to go all the time. This is a very high quality set and it looks really cool as well. It comes in a nice mesh bag that is convenient for packing and travelling. The flippers are also way nicer than anything I've had in the past. I highly recommend. 5/5.

Oh my gosh have we had fun with these. We live in Texas by a very large lake and my daughter has always had trouble going under water because of breathing issues. We have tried so many different masks over the years with no success so I decided to try this one since it said for the ocean. I figured it couldn't hurt since the currents in the ocean are stronger than in the lake. Well I was right.
She put this on and first off the fit was great. She was able to adjust it for a very secure fit without it cutting into her. Having the snorkel was an added bonus because she was able to actually breathe under water which allowed her to enjoy the lake more than she ever has.
She decided to try out the flippers and had a blast. She went exploring the bottom of the lake and found many treasures.
This is very well made out of very durable materials. She had no problems with the mask fogging over or with it coming loose. It came in a very nice net bag that we were able to hang up allowing everything to dry before getting back in the truck to come home.
I would highly recommend this for anyone that likes to swim.

Loving this snorkel mask set!

I've been seeing these pop up all over lately and I knew I just had to get in on the fun. I ordered this set for in the pool and for when we go snorkeling on vacation. I figured it had to be an improvement on the old school mouth guard and tube type snorkle and wow I was right!
First off, the quality of both the mask and the flippers are great! Nothing cheap about them. For sizing I chose a size small / medium (I can fit in youth hats and I'm a woman if that helps give perspective). It fits me great but it can definitely fit a range of head sizes, including my husbands large noggin (though it definitely fits me better). It's very user friendly and easy to adjust too. Best of all, it's comfortable - no more annoying mouth piece and no accidental tube submersion from the breathing tub falling back. Do I feel ridiculous looking in the mirror? Absolutely. But the view underwater and the comfort while viewing it can't be beat.
It's easy to breath out of, and it kept my face so dry that my makeup stayed totally intact after use! The view through it is crystal clear. Plus the flippers that came included are easy to adjust and comfortable to wear. I'm really impressed with this set! Highly recommend!

Very disappointed

We were very disappointed. Our friends flew in for the weekend and they ordered 2. We ordered 3. Only one mask worked properly. The salt water kept dripping into our eyes and made it impossible to use. We tried readjusting straps and making sure our hair was out of the the way but nothing helped. Needless to say it ruined our snorkeling for scallops. However the mouth part was fine for breathing. And the fins were not good in propelling us through the water. I would not recommend this product.
