I've been drinking a major coffee brand that comes in disposable cups and cost me $75/month. It's roughly the same as drinking Starbucks coffee once a day. Then, I stopped drinking coffee in an effort to cut back spending but it's been 2 months of sleepy/tired-me and I thought, hey, what about that instant stuff? I've been drinking coffee for 20 years and had a negative impression of instant from way back. Idk why, really. So I decided to try Folgers instant, remembering the commercials from when I was a kid, "the best part of waking up is Folgers in your cup!" It was a cute song and makes me cry a little for some reason.

So here we are: I love scooping this up - it smells great in the container and sounds like a million little diamonds moving around. The taste is great! I thought it would taste like sludge but no. I've had worse coffee at a much higher price. It wakes me up just enough that I don't feel like I've been zapped with a cattle prod. I like the idea of controlling how much is going in my cup. For now, I have only 1 tsp. At 6gm a rounded spoon, that's 37 cups. So that's basically $75 vs Folgers $5.

The savings alone is worth it. But I'm shocked at the value and quality. I now understand all the Folgers devotees. If I had only been drinking Folgers for 20 years, I would have saved"¦ well over $10,000.

This product is very tasty and quick to prepare in microwave first thing in the morning. Even on my days off.

I started drinking Folgers instant as a teen until I tried that famous mermaid chain in 1993. At that time it was inside a grocery store and only a small kiosk stand. I've been a coffee snob ever since. But now the older I get the less I want to grind coffee at home, buy expensive machines, and filters. Yes, the older I get the less work I want to do.

This coffee is a great fix for in the morning when I don't want to wait. It's quick, easy, and tastes pretty darn good. I can make it as strong or as weak as like. Just pour water in a mug, add coffee, and stir. Maybe the taste is not as good as the fancy brands made in a fancy drip coffee maker, but for me it's still delicious and a great way to get some wake up juice! The best part of waking up indeed!

I like the instant better than the ground, will buy again.

Some people call this fake coffee. It's a very good instant. I drink it every day. It's delivered quickly and it comes right to my door!! What can I say?? When I moved years ago there was no power on the property. I had no power for my coffee pot. So, after trying a few different instant coffees, I settled on this one. It had the best flavor AND after getting electricity, I stayed with it. It's worth staying with what you like!
