it will change your audio quality

I took a chance on this, but its a very good product, It's designed to provide a 3.5mm feed from an XLR microphone to an audio recorder. But, I also used the apple lightning connector to record director to a video capture session ( photo - video) on my i-phone ( use the Line Feed switch) . The voice/sound monitoring meter does not appear when using the line feed option, but the audio get recorded just fine ( do a record-playback test first to determine the appropriate gain level) on your i-phone or mobile device.

Very good audio device for connecting my Rode NTG1. I'm using it for audio with my Canon 70D and voice over audio using Audacity software on my PC.
This thing is awesome! Not the nicest looking in my opinion but ...

This thing is awesome! Not the nicest looking in my opinion but others are way more expensive and this works great so I can't complain! Even comes with a soft case for it!
