This is a great product to use "as is" on food or to marinate chicken for tacos. Great on top of sour cream on quesadillas! Spicy, but not too hot for most of our family. The green pepper flavor is great on egg dishes, too!

This salsa has a mixed reaction in our home. This is atypical. Usually, our tastes are very similar. Some really like it. I don't. Salsa Verde should be spicy without being tongue numbingly hot. It should taste of fresh herbs and veggies with a pleasant bite from citrus and/or vinegar. This salsa has an extremely bitter aftertaste that, to me, quickly overwhelms the palate. It smothers any other flavors. I had to brush my tongue and teeth to get rid of it before I could finish my meal. As I said, some of my family liked it: 3 Stars from them and 0 Stars from me.
