it's fine, it works as it should

Bought this for an interview, so that I am carrying something other than a manila folder. It does what it is suppose to, the imprinted logo/ company name on the front was bigger than it shows in pictures. I would have preferred if the logo/ company name was on the back of the portfolio than on the print. I noticed that people automatically looked at the portfolio and thought that was my name, when it wasn't so i had to eventually flip it over to not show. Overall, it's fine, it works as it should. My only issue is the logo/ company name placement.

Very nice craftsmanship and quality leather. The various pockets are great, with plenty of room for business cards, printed pages, etc. I can even slip my Surface Pro 4 into the largest pocket in a pinch, although it gets a little snug when the portfolio is folded up. Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase with the exception of one quibble. I am not crazy about having the large-ish logo on the bottom corner front cover. Inside or back would have been ok, but I have to knock 1 star off for the unnecessary branding.

This is a nice folder, but where I wanted to store files in the side pocket is tapered to nothing at the bottom and will only hold 1 or 2 files before they start to stick out of the folder, then the flap will no longer close, just not very useful for me so I returned it.
Good portfolio, but had an issue with it staining other items in my bag.

It is a good folder, but must have been over-stained or not dried enough as it stained some things in my bag that were in direct contact for a period of time.

Flawed design depending on your desired use. As some others have mentioned, the side pocket is not large enough to hold at standard sheet of paper or folder. I will fit something like a tablet or some spare folded pieces of paper.
The craftsmanship is excellent and I can see it lasting a very long time but it is an over glorified leather protector for a legal pad. A beautiful and well made protector but a terrible portfolio. I've had it for 2 months trying to see if I could get used to its limitations but it's been relegated to my desk.
