Stevia sourced in China
Amazon Customer✓ Verified Purchase•April 6, 2018
The bottle I received says the stevia is sourced in China. Just because processing is done in the best possible manner in the US does not mean the stevia leaves can be guaranteed as pure, organic, or non-GMO if grown in China.
... because it was very concentrated and mixed into beverages easily. The last time we ordered it

We have used Kal Stevia for years because it was very concentrated and mixed into beverages easily. The last time we ordered it, we found out quickly that the formula had changed drastically. Not only did it not mix into cold or hot beverages well, it took at least 3-4 times more to be as sweet. I use it in my plain Greek yogurt with vanilla and need so to use much more. I called the company and they said they get at least 10 calls a day about this. They said they changed vendors and would not be changing back. They said I could take it back to the store for a refund. I ordered it online, so it is not worth the postage. I wasted $12. The Stevia Select is almost as good as the original Kal. It is a little less sweet and does not mix in quite as well, but it is better than any others that we have tried so will stick with it.
Incredibly Bitter!

I have used a certain organic brand of Stevia for many years; however, upon a recommendation from a professional regarding Stevia Select, I decided to give Stevia Select a try. Unfortunately, I am not able to use Stevia Select, as it is incredibly bitter and very distasteful. I will NOT be using the Select Stevia brand, nor would I recommend it.
I love it!!

This really does sweeten things for me so that I can have my sweet tea that I love without the sugar. And the reviews were right, you don't need a lot to make something sweet! I also love that I don't get a headache when I use this as compared to the headache I get when I use artificial sweeteners such as Splenda. This is very good! And it has zero fillers! It was also great getting an e-recipe book with the purchase of this. It shows how to bake with the Stevia since you would use so much less of it than you use of sugar when baking. The only drawback to it is the little spoon that comes with it. It is difficult to get the little spoon out of the small jar without getting the Stevia everywhere. It would be nice if the spoon was somehow attached to the lid.
Organic Stevia helps in cutting my daily calories.

I'm keeping track of my calories in order to lose weight, and Organic Stevia is definitely helping me in this regard. Instead of adding sugar to my coffee, tea, and other beverages, I add one tiny spoon (which comes with your order a single shaker of Stevia) to my beverages. This cuts out any sugar calories in my beverages for the day. I'm using intermittent fasting to lose weight, and when every calorie counts on my fasting days, cutting out sugar and instead using Stevia allows me to obtain more calories from healthy foods.
I love this Organic Stevia because it tastes just like sugar would taste, and it's very simple to add a tiny spoonful of Stevia instead of a teaspoon of sugar. My drinks are sweetened just as if I had added sugar, and sugar calories are eliminated. The only disadvantage of using the Organic Stevia is that it's a little bit harder to dissolve in cold beverages (not a problem with hot tea or coffee). But then again, if you add sugar to cold beverages, you do have to stir and stir to get the sugar to dissolve. So dissolving Organic Stevia in cold drinks is not really that hard to do compared to dissolving sugar in cold drinks. Organic Stevia does have a shaker top (which I've never used), so the Organic Stevia may be easier to dissolve in cold drinks using the shaker instead of the tiny spoon.
I have not been able to get used to the taste of Organic Stevia in my hot coffee, however, but maybe it's merely because I haven't given it the proper amount of times I've used the Organic Stevia in coffee. I also tried adding a spoonful of Organic Stevia in my oatmeal once or twice and didn't care for it as much as a spoonful of sugar. However, Organic Stevia has been a great help in cutting calories in my daily cold beverages and hot tea, and I will continue to purchase the Organic Stevia in my quest to cut my daily calories.
