Great dress! I was very impressed by how comfortable it was, as well as with the craftsmanship. I was looking for something 1920's themed without being too much of a costume for a company party and this worked out perfectly! The design was exactly what I was looking for, it evoked the Gatsby idea but didn't go over the top. I can definitely wear this again to another event without worrying that I'll look like I got lost on my way to a Halloween party. People were blown away all night that this dress came from Amazon for such a great price. Pros: The beading & sequin work on the dress is very well done, there was one loose bead on the entire dress when I got it, but it hardly impacted the overall quality. The fringe is the perfect length to give you movement. The comfort of the dress was great, I didn't get scratches or irritation on my arms from it. I was able to move freely and was comfortable in it all night. The only thing that gave me any pause was the length of the dress, without the fringe, some of the peaks of the material under the beading zig-zag came a little high for my usual tastes when I first tried it on, but once I added some micro-fishnet stockings, I felt like I wouldn't have any accidental exposures & didn't. I certainly wouldn't recommend bending over at the waist in this dress. Fit: I purchased a small and feel like it is sized to fit 4-6, but closer to the 4. My measurements are 27 waist, 34 hips, 33 bust, 5'-6" and the small fit perfectly, except for the slightly short feeling, but again, the fringe covered more than I thought it would and it didn't end up being an issue. I ordered a medium in hopes it would be a little longer, but it was too big everywhere else and drooped at the arm holes, but at least I knew small worked best. One small difference in the dress I received vs. the dress in the picture, the blue lining is cut in the same zig-zag as the sheer beading/sequin overlay, not just straight across as pictured, which I felt was an improvement over the picture. The lining is attached in two places, the sides, which helps the dress move more freely. This dress is an steal for under $40, I'll definitely look at more dresses by this company for future needs.

So, for the price this dress was great. Howver, I'm normally a small, verging on medium these days, but I ended up fitting into the extra small.

The small had an issue with the back and sleeves being to big. The back hung down due to the weight of all the beads and pointed outward right at the small of my back, like a wave in the zipper. The sleeves and neck were lose and all over the place. There's no good way to alter a beaded dress like this, so I tried the XS.

I tried the XS. It fit much better, but there were several loose threads around the beading, and a few beaded areas that were just loose, making the design look a little asymetrical. This was not a problem on the first dress. One of these areas was right across the seat of this dress, so I was worried sitting would eventually rip the little loose strand off. Overall, I love it, the dress is very pretty, and I would buy again, however I ended up returning it over being self consious of my chubby arms. The cap sleeve cuts inward, not straight across as shown, so I was getting a little too much outer-arm pit/chest area showing. It made me look wider and squisher than I feel I really am in that area!

I love the color and the beaded overlay. The frindge is super cute.

The dress looked exactly like the picture. I ordered a medium it was a little loose but that is the style of the dress. I am 5'4" and 142lbs.

Love, love, love this dress, I wore it to a Roaring 20's party and paired it with a peacock feather hair clip. I got compliments all night! I went by reviews because the chart seemed off. So glad that I did! The first time I ordered a Medium and the sleeves were a little big, and the waist was a little baggy. So I returned it and ordered a Small and it fit perfect! I'm 5'3" and 146lbs. I have a curvy figure and a big bust and the small was just the right size. DO NOT go by the chart. According to my measurements I was a Large. Glad that I went with reviews instead. Arrived in great condition and the material was so comfy. I wore it all night! Definitely a great buy!

This dress is stunning. I wish it fit me better. I'm 5'7" 159lbs and 38D. I'm also pear shaped. The dress fit great through the torso and hips but was a little big in the chest and arms. I ordered an XL. I'm afraid a L would have been too snug across my hips. The dress came in ontime and was very well made.
