I'm somewhere between a L and XL (5'4" & 155lbs).
I'm short-waisted with a 38" bust. I got XL and the shoulders are super loose on me and the rest of the dress is just a slight bit loose on me. I would've liked to have had a L to try on and see if it was a better fit. The material is stretchy so I think the L would probably have been a better choice. Quality of material is nice.
