The photos do not compliment this dress. You must try it on to appreciate it. Purchased for my 14 year old daughter's homecoming dance but she was not able to keep it becasue the shoulder straps were too long. She looked amazing in this dress and if there would have been time for alterations, she would have worn it. One negative about this dress is the glitter gets everywhere.

Great dress! I wore it to a formal wedding and got a lot of compliments. Doubled-layered with a sheer glittery layer over the top. I did notice a few nicks in the fabric that was causing it to unravel after wearing one night. Not a big deal; could be easily fixed. It also left a small glitter trail wherever I went (or sat, or hung the dress). I followed the sizing guide and ordered a 6 knowing it would be too long (I'm 5'1" and 130 pounds, gymnast build) so I cut off about 5 inches so it hit right a floor level. Overall, I would buy again.

I'm 5'3" and 172lbs, hourglass body shape, (42" bust, 36" waist and 47" hips) Ordered a size 14 and it fits beautifully. However, I'll have to cut about 20cms since it's too long and I'm too short, but I will wear this for my brother's wedding next April. It looks simply astonishing... no need to wear bra, probably will use sticky pads to pull my girls up. I ordered 8-10 dresses and this was the only one I was 100% satisfied with. Now, it's more expensive than the other dresses, but I can clearly see why. It's heavier than you might think, just keep that in mind.I'll update with pictures when I'm ready to wear it! Warning: it is tried that you'll have a massive amount of glitter falling from the dress wherever you go. I had to sweep the WHOLE house after trying it on. The day of the wedding, I'll just have it in the bag and put it on on the restroom of the wedding place.

The dress was really nice and of good quality. I was quite surprised that the hem of the dress had thick hem tape to it (I believe that's what it's called) to prevent bulking of the fabric. The mesh was see through on the straps and mid-section like advertised and everything was decked out in glitter. It really was beautiful. The only issue I had was that the dress was a tad bit to small for what I believe should be an XL. However they did include extra sheer fabric which I'm assuming is for any alterations you might need to do for the dress.
