I started a new job recently, and I'm always on the phone a lot for work, interviewing people. I mentioned in passing to the crotchety old IT guy, who complained a bunch about the fancy dual 24" monitors bought on my behalf by the company, that I wanted a headset. He claimed the company doesn't buy old school phone headsets anymore and only pays for USB headsets. I don't exactly believe him, but I figured since he was already grumbling about the monitors, I'd go find my own headset. This one works with my Cisco 7961 desk phone, is comfortable, the sound quality is fine, and the microphone's noise canceling works for me. I have my own office with a door but I interview people on the phone and type notes. I tested the noise canceling by leaving myself a voicemail on my cell phone while talking and typing at the same time. I could *very* faintly hear the typing in the background but it's not at a volume that would annoy someone on the other end of a call with me. Not sure if it'd be perfect for those in call center environments with a bunch of other people talking, but it's great for my needs.

I have had this for a year and only use for a few hours 2 days a week. Sound is horrible both ways. There's static and person on the other end always sound far despite volume adjustment. The ear piece is so tight I can't keep it on for more than an hour (I have a small head). Sad I can't return.

I use this all the time at work. I've had it for a while now and it seems to work really well. The quality of the canal is great. Everyone says I can hear my mic well. The only reason I didn't give this a five star really has to do with a personal preference. I probably should've got earpieces on both sides of my head and not a one-sided one. This one works well, but sometimes it presses on the side of my head and I think 2 ear pieces might have been better for comfort for me.
