Good 4U Wall Mount for the Money

I'll point out that this review is for the 4U bracket since the reviews for all the Kenuco brackets appear to be lumped together. This unit comes fully assembled with half the screws you will need if you plan to populate it with four 1U devices. The screws size can be found in the Q&A section if you need additional ones. It also comes with four concrete anchors which if your situation is like mine are totally useless. Bright side, if you need to anchor a two post to the floor, you can probably use them for that. I ended up going to a box store for the four lag bolts and washers I needed. The hinged mechanism allows it to collapse flat but does not hinge out beyond perpendicular. The ability for it to extend allows you to connect everything you need in the back and then push it in to take up less space. If you plan to put it near a corner, make sure you leave enough room to get to all the screws.

The unit worked well. It is solid and sturdy. Being extendable made adjustments to accommodate the wire harnesses in the back of the chassis very easy. The opening in the back of the chassis allowed me to put all the cabling out of the wall through that opening (12 CAT6A cables, 3 coax and 1 telephone line). It came with masonry/concrete anchor bolts which I did not use. The mounting holes on the unit where NOT 16" on center. I was easy to drill 2 new mounting holes 16" inches from the existing mounting holes. This cost a star in the rating. For the price, a very reasonable unit. It only came with a few screws for the rackmounts but that isn't a problem as most of the equipment I use come with rack screws for mounting.

I purchased the Kenuco 4U Hinged Extendable Wall Mount Bracket. The description states the holes are 16 inches apart center to center, but in reality they are 15 inches center to center. That required me to drill extra holes in the bracket for bolts to fit through and attach to studs. The bracket also only came with eight screws to mount 4U worth of devices.
