I was excited to try these after I grabbed some on sale around Christmas time. They glide on so easy and the color is so beautiful. They go on like a cream and dry to a powder like feel, so your eyelids don't feel sticky. Each one also comes in with a built-in smudger which works great. I love the look and it lasts all day. I bought some for myself, my teenage daughter, my niece and my sister and we all LOVE it! I'll definitely be buying more.

I love this shadow and have kept using it for years. It's creamy and forgiving, super easy to apply. It stays where you put it but doesn't last through the day (I don't mind this past so much).

However the design is lacking and allows for too much product waste. The eyeshadow stick is shaped like a long pill and constantly falls out of the tube. When there's about 1/4 left it's level with the tube and you can no longer use the product as designed.

I'm in my late 30s and it's starting to show in my skin. Wrinkles and crepeyness around my eyes makes powder formulations look very bad on my skin. According to the beauty gurus of the interwebs, a cream eyeshadow is the answer to all my problems and, since this is the #1 selling eyeshadow on Amazon I was both suspicious and intrigued. Anyway, they seem alright. Manageable for someone like me who doesn't wear a lot of makeup, who doesn't want to do anything too complicated anymore and just wants to look nice or like they put a little more effort than nothing into their daily look.

I chose 3 shades, all of which I'm wearing in the photo: Desert Matte for the inner corner and under my brow, Ochre Matte for my crease and Champagne Shimmer to highlight the middle of my lid. I like them all just fine but (and maybe it's just because they're cold from being delivered in January) the champagne shimmer didn't seem to want to apply as readily as the matte shades did.

All in all, I love the subtle look they give and I trust they're a new staple in my daily makeup look. 10/10 would order again. I fact I have a few more shades I'm looking forward to trying soon.

I really love these eyeshadow sticks overall. I think the colors are gorgeous and I was pleasantly surprised with how long they last without creasing! I don't use an eyeshadow primer, I just sweep it only my lid and then use a brush to help blend out the edges. The eyeshadow stick has a blending sponge on the other end of it, but I have found it to be difficult to use and counterproductive as it seems to wipe the product off more than blend it. I wore this for a full 8 hour work day with little to no creasing.
Don't let the product sit on your eyes too long before you blend because once it sets/dries it will be much harder to blend or get off. I have been able to take it off using micellar water or just some soap and water.

Julep Eyeshadow 101 Crème to Powder Waterproof Eyeshadow Stick, Rose Shimmer is one of 8 shades I have. I'm 63 and find that the shadow does not build up in my creases. The shadow goes on very smooth and you can use the sponge on the other end to blend if needed.
I love them so much I'll be adding more in the near future.
