Rather nice yet cheap pseudo-mechanical keyboard - certainly the least gaudy one I could find for the $. If you understand what you're getting, you likely won't be disappointed. In particular, don't expect a *real* mechanical feel from this. It's like a decent membrane keyboard with keys mimicking mechanical size/shape/layout. I.e., the keys "float" above a flat backplane like on a basic mechanical keyboard, but are "mushy" / "plasticy" compared to mechanical ones. That said, the overall result isn't bad at all.
Good and Affordable :)

it's really great for the price you pay. to be straightforward, it functions like your normal keyboard and is a plug-and-play that doesn't require any software to be downloaded/used.
i like that there's no dip/perimeter so that it's easy to clean. it's pretty hefty so it doesn't slide around and while the keys give a little more resistance than your standard mechanical keyboard, they're still quite pleasant to hit. solid keyboard, so i'm just going to list the cons/peeves i have.
- my space bar and shift keys are squeaky. it came like this and i don't want to go yanking out keys with the potential of breaking it. i might sacrifice a key in the future, but i can't hear it when i have my headphones on.
- red, magenta, blue, off, and strobe (FN + lightkey) aren't bright enough if your desk light/ceiling light is on even on the brightest setting. to me, the magenta feels the brightest, but barely. because not every single key has an individual LED behind it, you have some unevenness in lighting spots. the strobe goes too quickly to be comfortable/idle/not distracting.
- i have removed the Rii sticker (easy), but the chunk of plastic is still there and gets in the way a bit when i hit the 'up' key. it's mostly a problem because i have longer nails. i also wish the 'numlock/capslock/scrolllock' sticker was matte or it was just printed onto the keyboard. just a personal preference because i don't like the glossy finish. the LED's for them is blue.

still, take these cons with a grain of salt. i think this is still a VERY GOOD keyboard for what you're paying.
Great price to product

Why would any normal user need to purchase at retail a KB with piles in closets and thrift stores?
For me, this one is lit: with the star symbol, colors can go from red, blue neon, purple, AND OFF
With the Fn Key plus Page-Up/Page-Down color intensity can be adjusted
Trust me, using stick-ems that light in the dark is a time waster to do, plus the glow is only temporary
Too, some stick-ems do not include all the keys you will not discover in time to not waste time
I trick out my KBs by gluing on table leg tips/caps to get the height I want
Not playing online games, I don't know how adequate this KB is for gamers
I had wished the the faux mechanical sound would be from a dinky small speaker under the KB to give me that click sound of genuine mechanical KBs movie KBs have--Here, the KB keys are NOT soften when tapped is what the co means
All in all for the price to product, a buy!
Good keyboard with 2 major flaws.

This keyboard looks nice and is of fairly sturdy construction, with very little wasted space so as to keep it on the smaller side. The lights are nice and there are 3 different color options, all of which are distinct.

I have two major problems with it.

One: The Enter key is unlike any I've ever used on another keyboard. It is far to the right and curves at the top as opposed to the bottom. Anyone used to using any other keyboard will likely spend the first few months of use hitting the "\" key every time they mean to hit the Enter key. The distance your pinky finger has to traverse is a little too long.

Two: If I boot my computer and the keyboard is plugged into it, it freezes my computer. I have to unplug it every time I want to restart. I doubt this would happen with every computer, but it is an annoying bug that caused me no end of trouble when I first experienced it. Just be aware that this may be a problem you have to deal with.
Backlit and responsive

18 bucks back lit and great key response. Can't get any better. The keys are a touch large but I do so much gaming in the dark the back lit keys are soooo appreciated. I typed a test page and had zero issues.
