We live in the county and only have Satellite as an option for tv. That is over priced and with what we were paying there was an issue with DirectTv fighting with CBS and my husband couldn't watch his football. This antenna is GREAT. We get 31 channels crystal clear and it was easy to install. When we are out of contract with Directv we will be cancelling and just using this.

I tried it as an inside antenna, and performed about as well as several low-tech, non-amplified antennae in the same location, but all of which had cost about a fifth to a tenth as much.
Yeah, if I had mounted it on a twenty foot pole, it would have undoubtedly picked up several more channels which are being blocked by some neighborhood obstacles, but so, I would imagine, would have several of the cheaper antennae...and I am no way convinced that this new plastic antenna would be any more weather resistant than the others over time.

This is the best antenna I've ever used. I live in an area that's very remote, it's very hard to get a signal. This gave me 15 channels and I didn't even put it in the air and it's inside my house. All 15 of those channels came in crisp and clear no jitters, no breakup of the picture it was perfect.
