I was kind of expecting a cheapo bag, but this is a much better quality bag than I was expecting. So much so, that I think I'll use it for something better than for what I originally intended to use it for. Heavier material than expected...the zippers are so-so, but even still, heavier than expected. It's really pretty nice for the money and a definite keeper.

I had purchased this bag for two reasons:
1. I needed a bag that was not too big but not too small either for when I have longer drill weekends out in the field, such as this past weekend. I was very impressed with the fact that it was able to fit a small blanket, a small pillow, ACU pants, jacket, tan t-shirts, winter and summer PT's, along with under garments. That was all in the main area, not to mention all my other stuff I was able to fit in the side and front pockets. I absolutely loved bringing this bag with me because it was small enough to store under the bunks but big enough for all my stuff to fit comfortably. The sling to go over the shoulder also made this bag incredibly convenient for walking to and from the buses. Also, I am 5'10" and when I attached the sling the bag was slightly below my hips. But you can adjust it if needed which was great.

2. I was looking for a sturdy enough gym bag that would not take up a lot of room. This one happens to be exactly what I was looking for. I had one I used for years and it was getting to be a pain because of how large it was, and with this one it is the perfect size (I feel like). I can fit my protein bars in the pockets, my shoes on the sides, and anything I want inside. Usually I end up putting in a towel along with a jump rope, my water bottle, some workout and regular clothes and I still have plenty of room left over. If you are going to fit it in skinny lockers, however, its going to have to stand straight up and down because it is a little long.

So far I have been very satisfied with this purchase because the bag is compact, not too big or long, and fits all my needs and wants. Hopefully this helps other people trying to find the perfect bag for the. I really hope this has been helpful and you enjoy the bag as much as I have so far.

Love this bag! Use it to travel, use it for a gear bag in my photography and whatever I need it for. Plenty of space and lots of pockets! Nice also to have the stitched/weaved banding on the sides for attaching things using Carabiner Hooks and other connectors. Big roomy main pocket with solid bottom piece for holding shape. A+

The bag is good sized and pretty much exactly what I was looking for.

My only complaint or concern, is the cheap insert for the bottom of the inside of the bag. It's a very thin piece of plastic that is loose.
