These would be great for.... to - go containers, or pre-prepared pasta type dishes. I purchased them for pies and quiches, and because of the way the lid attaches, it made it difficult to create a decorative crust border. They are pretty flimsy, in that a butter knife will easily pierce them when the food is cut into. But knowing it now, they will be useful for other things.

We bought these for homemade pizza instructional class with grade school aged kids. They fit a personal pan pizza perfectly and the kids covered and took home to bake and eat. The metal folds over the clear plastic lid and holds securely. Pizza baked up great in these. The lid can be used dome up or dome down depending on how thick the contents are. We bought these the past 3 years now. Great product.
