This a very heavy and sturdy tray. I use it on my sofa to hold remotes and an occasional glass of wine (lol). The silver color is beautiful. I highly recommend this tray.

FYI: These are black plastic trays with an adhesive vinyl paper stuck to the outside for decoration. I bought one of each: black, silver & gold. All three trays arrived with defects. Each one had abraded areas and spots where the decorative layer was gouged, torn or peeling off. (See pictures in the Customer Images area.) I imagine that with regular use, this would get even worse. So, I am returning them.

My son uses this tray to carry food up to his room. The tray is a nice size and holds an 8" plate and two drinks and there is still more room on the tray. Underneath is covered and slightly padded so it does not scratch his nice wood desk. You can wipe it down with a damp cloth or sponge. The only negative is that the holes on the handles could be a bit larger for a more comfortable fit when carrying and it's a bit heavy.
