Have purchased several of these over the past 2 years; some for me, some for gifts. The product name says it all : "saves soap" and the soapy residue is left behind. The soap bar dries quickly and seems to last longer. It is easy to clean (just rinse from time to time with water). Size is about the size (in length) of an unused bar of Dove brand soap bar. Good value for the price compared to other soap holders.
