Even though this light is sold as a bike taillight I bought it for as a light to mount on my handle bar as an aid to help drivers pulling out of side streets or driveways spot me easier. It certainly does that because it is Super Bright and drivers can't help but see me approaching. I was.concerned about the mounting system for this light because it comes with a thick rubber mounting strap that fastens around your seatpost or as in my case the handlebar. I called the customer service number that was in the pamphlet that was enclosed with instructions. I inquired if the rubber mounting strap would hold up after constantly having to remove & reinstall it to bring it in to recharge? I was assured that all I would have to do is give them a call & they would surely resolve any issues that I might have with this light. It was very comforting to hear and I was also told that contrary to what I thought it would not be necessary to recharge this light as often as I anticipated. The gentleman told me that this light would not have to be recharged for about a couple of months. That fact makes me like this light even more!!! Another nice feature is that it can be mounted horizontally or vertically.
