Great for my Well Water situation

This was easy to set up. After several washes it's doing great! I am on well water which has quite a bit of iron and sulphur. I have a side hobby of detailing classic cars, so I can't risk damaging paint with water that doesn't have the best quality.
My advice is to keep testing your water. The APEC filter system is going to last longer if the water you're using isn't full of contaminants. ; )

We've been using this for over two years now on the original filters. We use it to fill and top off the coolant tanks on two CNC machines with 55 gallon tanks.
I estimate we've used over 800 gallons and the TDS meter is still 0.
Our tap water runs 60-90 ppm which is much lower than most areas. Excellent results. I'm considering buying one for myself to wash my cars.

So far so good! I've done about 20 car washes using this water system, so it more than paid for itself. It was very easy to put together and for the most part, I've only had to lightly wipe down each vehicle after - to really get the windows clean. I did take the advice of other reviewers and purchase separate hoses. I also am very mindful of how much water I use each time I wash because as many have pointed out, the filters are about 60 bucks each to replace. What's funny is that I used to spend longer going to the car wash and sitting around waiting for my car to be washed. Using this product not only saves me time but helps me get much-needed exercise. I simply throw on a podcast, and before you know it I'm done. This is one of the best products I've ever purchased on Amazon!

I purchased this item because of the extreme hard water in Texas. Used once, drained filters as suggested (not on easy task). Several weeks later hooked up hose and all the guts came out of filter! Not what I expected from such a great company.
