These are awesome tire irons, and three is just the right number. I've been working with 2 of the old style 8 or 9 inch irons, got 'em in the 80's, do all my dirt bike tires myself like most racers. Put the old ones in the emergency or the loaner bag; these 14" dudes make the job laughably easy. I didn't use to pinch tubes, but often had to work really hard to make it go that way. These make it so easy it's just silly, and no doubt about pinching. I love 'em!

Beastly. Worked perfect for breaking beads as well as installing dirt bike tires on a yamaha ttr230.

If you're looking to swap anything larger - its probably best to take it to someone with floor mounted tooling. These things do have their limitations and solid A** rubber on a sport bike tire is probably one of them.

Otherwise, watch the tool end so as not to pinch a tube or your fingers (and my toes - had to use my full body weight) and you should be good!

I used these to spoon off and on tires on my snow thrower which had the stock tires from 1978. They're strong and don't bend, and the curved edges are safe around tubes.

To break the beads, I put the tire and rim behind my vehicle car tire and drove over just the tire to break them off. They were stuck so hard that a sledge wouldn't touch them. It worked AWESOME! Once the bead was broken, these worked great for removing and installing the new ones.

I used these tire spoons to change the tires from knobby-dirt, to 20/80 off road/street tires. I was careful and it went very well. I also balanced the new tires something shops don't do on duel sport or dirt motorcycles. I have a Honda CRF250L.
Where I live it's hot, so I threw the new tires out on the patio and let them heat up in the Sun. They warm up and expand.
Soap and water are a ok tire mounting lubricant, but I spent a few dollars on professional tire mounting lubricant. It's worth the money spent (I mounted one tire and never used a tool.) What I used was "Beadbuster tire mounting lubricant/paste, sold by Amazon. Also purchase a wheel stand, if you can afford it. It makes a major difference.

Balance your tires even on a duel sport motorcycle. It will run better with less vibration and a vastly smother ride, when you are on the streets. The cruising speed went up from 53 mph to 60 mph. I attribute this to well balance tires

We used these to replace a tire on my sons razor mx500. They worked perfectly. With the help of a you tube video we did it in 30min, our first time ever! These will make it easier for next time also, now that we have the hang of it. Worth every penny,
