Great frother. Quick. efficient. Works with all types of milk (Whole, Skim, Oat, Almond, Soy)
BUT just make sure as soon as you remove the frother from the base, to flip the switch. Im pretty forgetful and have poured the froth and then stuck it back on the base absent mindedly. It will keep running.
The frother is actually a little metal whisk like thing at the bottom and certain creams or milks may stick to it a little more or leave a film at the bottom. Its fairly easy to clean, but if you do have the film problem, pipe cleaners work very well.

it absolutely froths milk, heats milk, but the measuring lines inside the container are misleading. fill it to the "max" and it will spill over, through the seal of the lid; it is thus very difficult to make a latte with it, as the milk is far more frothed than heated.
I've adjusted to simply drinking cappuccino, having no other real choice. it's a very good item for the price, but it would benefit greatly from having a more variable cycle, allowing the user to heat more and froth less. it has a setting to froth milk cold, though - a nice thought. If it seems Petty that my complaint about an item titled a milk frother is that it froths the milk too much, well, perhaps it is. the instructions are very misleading though, and following them resulted in quite a large mess, so I am quite sure of my four star maximum.

My wife loves this thing. I bought it for her for Christmas and she has used it three or four times now. It makes a very warm and frothy cup of coffee that you would pay 7$ for at you know where. Cleaning is as simple as a quick rinse under the faucet and it is ready to go again.
