Seemed good, but my Sons took the knives before I could test!
Pete R.•February 27, 2018
This was a nice little knife. I was playing around with it and made the mistake of leaving on the kitchen counter. By the next morning my two sons (A reservist and an FFA animal handler) came by for breakfast and left me a note saying "thanks for the knives!".
I'd put 5 stars but I didn't actually get to USE the product. I will order more.

Not A Beauty Queen, But I Like It
DogMom•February 6, 2018
These little knives are not beauty queens or finely crafted. I would call them utilitarian.
They are also very inexpensive, and therefore easy to have in many places. I have one in my GHB, the shop/garage, the car, and several in my camping/emergency gear, as well as giving them to people for their BOB's.
I have several of these, and they have all been very sharp right out of the box. These knives are one solid piece of steel, with a "paracord" wrapped handle. I don't like the paracord wrap much, so I might experiment with Gorilla tape or tool-dip. Why not?
The serrated spine is fairly thick, and will stand up to some hammering, like to split some wood.
I have used the fire starter on a couple of these, and they work fine, they're just really small and awkward.
The sheaths are junk, but OK for keeping the knife and fire starter in a pack or tote.
I have some nice, fairly expensive knives that I like a lot, but would feel really bad if I lost or destroyed them. These little guys, I have no problem beating them up, and wouldn't cry if I lost one.

Pleasantly surprised with these
Aaron McCullough•January 31, 2018
Was very surprised with these tanto knives! I bought them just to have as a back-up in my bug out bag and one for my girlfriend to put in her car just bc they were cheap and why not. Turned out to be much better than expected. Havent used them too too much so I Can't speak to how well they hold an edge but they came much more sharp out of the box than expected. I was easily able to shave the hair off my forearm without much force or trouble at all. Stupid I know, but that's how I test the edge on cheapo knives.my only qualms I have with would be the paracord looking string on the handle, but that's easily replaced with actual paracord. But for the price you cant complain at all.
Best size for strapping on your packs
Amazon Customer•January 10, 2018
These knives are AWESOME! They are perfect for utility and survival. I mounted these on the straps of backpacks I use. When you are out hiking, or other activities you often need a good knife. A good knife which doesn't require a lot of real estate. A good knife which is unobtrusive to casual observer.
This knife serves those purposes. In every pack I use, I have a small survival bag inside of it. Having a larger knife which can be used for more than survival gives me that added comfort. Sharp, strong, and complete with a spark stick, and length of rope. This fits the bill for quick bug out bag tool.

The cord used for the wrap sucks but easily fixed with some actual 550 cord
Charlene•December 12, 2017
I wasn't expecting much of this knife for the price but I am impressed! Even ordered a couple more. The cord used for the wrap sucks but easily fixed with some actual 550 cord. The sheath is a little cheesy but not bad. I like that this set up will fit into your back pocket and not easily slide out, wear it on your belt, toss it in your glovebox or part of a B-O-B and not take up any space or add much weight.
