Right out of the box it sliced phone book pages like butter. It is a beauty well balanced knife. Sheath is very well made. A little mink oil to condition and preserve. Maybe I got lucky but nothing like other reviews. Only challenge I see is finding a stone to fit in pouch. Not sure how much good the fire steel will be but better than nothing. Bottom line is I love this knife.

The knife need to be sharpen still had grinding marks in the cutting edge, the leather case that going to take some time very stiff needs some saddle oil to loosen the leather up but overall I like it

The media could not be loaded. Loved the size and ergonomics of this knife. Disliked the edge and dryness of the sheath out of the box. If you don't mind doing a little rejuvenation if the leather and know how to put a good edge on a dull knife this is perfect. For the price I believe they should do a better job with the sheath and the edge. However, the overall quality is good and the knife performs well at its price point.
