I had to return this because of the size. They did a great job with the packing and shipping, and it came faster than the estimated delivery date. The return process was easy as well, so my 4-star review is more for the store.
I read a few reviews that said it was small so I went with a 2XL and it was still too small. Even the forearm sleeves are snug if you work out frequently and have thicker arms. If you're an XL and think you want a 2X, go for the 3X, I can't say it's bigger because I haven't tried a 3X but that's probably where you want to start.

Although I picked a size based on the sizing measurements given and well within the range, it does fit, but is a little snug. The next size up might have been a little better (especially if I want to wear warmer clothes and layers underneath). The backbone of plastic down the back is a little long and if you ride in a more upright position, you might feel it more. Hoping I never have to use it, but the plastic seems hard enough and well placed to take some of the impact of a crash.

I bought this as a gift & received it with the interior of the arm sewn together. I contacted the company who told me to take a picture of the damage. It was difficult (dark) to see the damage on the inside of the arm. It was frustrating dealing with the company in an attempt,pt to get this rectified. I finally did get it replaced but it was a struggle.
