This is a great trail camera for the price. Works great, no issues, and we like the mounting supplies included. Great wide views. Easy set up, which is super important. We have 5 different types of trail cameras, and this was one of the easiest to use. The advertised 8MP was kind of misleading when I purchased this. It's really a 2MP CMOS camera. I take that to mean that greater "resolution" shots are simply digitally enhanced if selected on the option. However, if they had been upfront with that in the ad I would have rated it a 5 star for the money. Time/date stamp, video ability and a very neat mounting attachment are quite a plus on such a cheap camera. The battery compartment was well thought out and there will be no batteries falling out as you open and close the door to access the SD card.
The test images are 2MP range at best and I question the 720 video rating too. It is simply an outstanding deal for a 'beater' trail camera. If it lasts 3 months then I will have broken even since I use these cameras every day.

Have been wanting one of these for over a year, but was confused by all the different brands and models.This camera is superb for my needs. I use it when I am working on finding a lost pet and the images are plenty good. Sometimes they are color then black and white and I don't know why but doesn't matter for my needs. I can see the time on the image and when the animals was active. Plus, there is not flash -- not that that was a problem with the pets but it attracted attention, sometimes security concerns, sometimes curiosity and theft. I do miss my little aiming light but I don't think any of the recent ones have those.
I like that it is small and easy to mount, and has a decent warranty. Instructions were clear and it was easy to set up. It takes pretty good pictures on low resolution.
Overall,I am very happy with this camera.

I got this trail camera dispite the numerous negative reviews. I really thought to myself, why are some really loving this camera and others complaining about the quality of the video. Is it a setting on the camera? I really liked the specs of the camera so decided to try it out for myself ... I HATED the quality! The video was horrible. I tried numerous different settings, I bought a high end fast memory card, I even used all 8 batteries, and the video was very grainy and dark. Nothing improved it. The people that are giving this camera good ratings must not have a high expectations for their trail camera. I returned this and purchased a Browning trail camera for $30 more. Much happier with that product.

Bought this as a gift for my son in law and daughter. They live in suburban area outside of Atlanta. They have captured photos of deer, and coyotes! The daylight photos are excellent, but if you live on busy street, don't aim it at street, because the motion detection picks up traffic going by. The night time photos are very clear. This was a great gift and we have enjoyed the pictures, probably more than them! I would definitely buy this again and recommend it for others. I really investigated what I needed in a trail camera, high definition pixels, waterproof, no glow at night, infrared for quality night shots, motion detection. It also does video. Also, it arrived on time!
