Don't trust friction alone

These straps are well designed and well made. I think I just got a bad one. One of the buckles doesn't hold the strap securely, so it will slip if I don't tie the end securely. This caused my bike to fall over while I was loading it. No damage, but not cool. I'm going to switch to ratcheting straps so they absolutely can't slip, and keep these for secondaries.
Worth it! Much higher quality than average cam buckle straps.

Great so far. A lot stouter than other cam buckle straps I have found in town. I tied down my FZ09 with them yesterday and they held great. Much easier to snug down and release than the Harley Davidson ratchet straps that I had been using.

I got so frustrated with hard to use ratchet straps that I was very intersted in these. I believe Rhino products are high quality so I bought a pair of non-ratcheting straps for my ATV. I love them. I use them on the rear and pull them as tight as I can (I am 77 yrs old) and they are pretty tight. Then I use two ratchet type on the front and ratrchet them very tight. That puts a little more tension on the Rhino's and the ATV is very secure. When taking them off, just push the button, which takes some thumb strength, and they pop loose releasing the tension and that makes the ratchet straps easier to take off.

These things are heavy duty. The most heavy duty cam buckle straps I have ever seen. Also made in the USA. the hooks are very sturdy, but I am taking off one star because I found the hooks to be slightly less than ideal. The hooks are thick, but the loop area is cramped. I would prefer a different mechanism for the hook latch. The rubber piece keeps sliding off on mine so i just left it off. Doesn't hurt anything. If these straps had hooks like the Pro taper straps I would give this 5 stars. However the straps on these are heavier and these are made is USA. Therefore they are now my strap of choice.

These are some of the strongest straps I have used. I wish there was an adjustment option on the end where the soft loop goes to the cam. I have two different types of bikes, a cruiser and an endure. The cam end up in a bad spot that can damage my bike on the cruiser, so I had to find a 2nd suitable place to wrap the soft side onto. It worked out just fine, but feel it is not quite as sturdy. I know it is difficult to make a product that can work with all motorcycle brands. These strap are top quality and should last many years, unlike the ratchet strap sets I have purchased over the years.
